PUPILS from Hatherleigh Primary School have been taking part in a home learning project, which saw them discovering why it is important to become more environmentally friendly.

The project was aimed at helping children extend their learning outside of the school environment, to make links between what happens at home and at school.
The children completed a number of projects from reading books which covered a range of topics to measuring and recording the outside temperature over a week.
The children presented their findings using posters, stories and games.
