THE third Big Breakfast event to be organised at the time of remembrance by the Okehampton branch of the Royal British Legion will be held at the Charter Hall on Saturday, November 9.

Visitors will get a full English breakfast, tea or coffee and toast and marmalade for £5.

On the previous two occasions the Big Breakfast has been held, it has proven to be popular for Saturday shoppers, and provides people with a chance to show their support for the British armed forces.

Several local businesses are showing their support by donating food for the breakfast, funding and raffle prizes.

The Air Training Corps and the Army Cadet Force have rallied to the cause and will be providing help on the day.

The Big Breakfast starts at 8.30am.
