FINE weather encouraged a good turnout at this year’s Ashwater Agricultural Show on August 15.

The show saw plenty of cattle and sheep entries while 19 farmers of the future demonstrated their skills in the young handler’s class.

Family pets had their moment to shine in the fur and feathers classes and family dog show. Horse classes also saw a strong number of entries.

Other entertainment throughout the day included a parade of vintage tractors, a parade of the South Tetcott Hunt, Ashwater Primary’s steel band, craft tent and much more.

The show committee expressed thanks to the show sponsors, judges, programme advertisers and donors for their generous support of the 2015 show.

The committee also expressed thanks to show president John Bone for carrying out his role admirably, to Holsworthy Army Cadet Force for its hard work throughout the day and to everyone involved who helped make the show a success.
