AFTER a successful fundraising Rag Week back in October last year, sixth form students from Callington Community College took pleasure in handing over a cheque for £2,000 to Judy Pride from the Children's Hospice South West at the new Little Harbour Hospice at Porthpean in Cornwall. 

Mrs Pride gave the students, along with staff members Alan Yendell and Rag Week organiser Carolyn Woodman, a tour of the new facility which recently opened and has welcomed its first patients. 

The students were pleased with their fundraising efforts but after seeing the hospice first hand are now planning their next fundraising activities.
