MORE than 100 children enjoyed an action packed and fun filled week-long holiday club at Tavistock Methodist Church (TMC) during the school summer holidays (pictured right).

Following the story of Moses from the Bible, the five day long holiday club included fun, games, challenges, stories, team work, singing, craft and activities to suit all.

Each day the children learned more about God through the events of the life of Moses.

Themes included God being in control, God's love, forgiveness, trusting in God and God being a promise keeper.

The S:CAPE holiday club, for children between five to eleven years old, is held during the school summer holidays each year.

Run by the family working team at TMC, the holiday club is always the end of term finale after a term of many and varied clubs, activities, events and services.

Chris Harding, who helped to lead the week, said: 'It's been an absolutely amazing week.

'To learn about God and see how the lessons from the Bible are so relevant and life-changing for us today, whether we're adults or children is amazing. We've all had a brilliant time!'
