I WOULD like to thank all those teams that took part in the Save the Children quiz evening on November 22. We raised £525 on the evening.
A big thank you to John Wyatt our quizmaster and his two sons,Tom and Harry.
Great fun was had by all. The winning team was the team from the U3A.
We hope that teams will put the date in their diary for next year.

THROUGH your paper I would like to thank everyone who so generously supported the Operation Sunshine coffee morning.
It is wonderful to report that £378 was raised. This money will go towards sending much needed aid to some of the poorest people in Africa.
