CONDITIONS were fantastic for the annual Tavy 7 race, which took place on the moors around Plaisterdown and Sampford Spiney recently.

More than 350 runners took part in the event organised by Tavistock Athletic Club, which included the main race and a fun run.

Keith Bowles from TAC paid tribute to Tavistock Lions Club's Keith Penney, Sue Parish, Alan Wroath, Paul Blowey, Tony Welsh and Ken their help marshalling the car parks on the day.
