OKEHAMPTON Youth Chorus is to receive a £100 boost from the town council.

OYC is one of Wren Music's youth vocal ensembles for school students from in and around Okehampton. It is designed to offer young people the chance to find their voice, to sing and to have fun with music.

The grant will help towards paying for a music leader, writing research and other music-based activities.
