PETER Tavy Parish Council has been awarded a grant to upgrade the local playing field. The grant of £500, which was awarded at the end of last year, has come from the Devon Playing Fields Association and will be used to provide additional safety surfacing as well as the general upgrading of facilities. It is also hoped to provide a new gate. The parish council is currently deciding which of several options to implement in the improvements.
