AFTER a wet and windy winter Lydford Gorge is now ready to re-open to the public.

Fay Langston, visitor services officer, said: 'Springtime is a wonderful time to visit Lydford Gorge and we would like to encourage both local people and tourists to learn all about the flora and fauna within this natural habitat.'
