Vivid cup under 14s Ivybridge 0 Tavistock Girls 4 TAVISTOCK started slowly with two players not feeling well and on a very uneven bumpy pitch. The girls have only had two league matches and have been spoilt by playing them both on the beautiful pitch at Crowndale. Passing was difficult and the ball was leaping all over the place. Despite a number of close shots Tavistock could not find the back of the net. Shaw and Glasspoole again worked wonders and battled to keep the ball upfield. Shortly before half time a great ball by Rose saw Moody shoot home. The second half saw a switch of keepers due to illness and Gordon came out as striker. A Moody cross saw Hammond volley over to Rose to put Tavistock two up. Play went from end to end with Ivybridge fighting to get back into the game, but Gordon finished them off with two goals in the last 5 minutes. Player of the match went to Danni Moody.
