VINCE Lee and the Big Combo hit the Wharf, Tavistock, on Saturday.
This band hail from Plymouth and somewhat tongue in cheek call themselves the Big Combo — well, there are only three of them!
Mind you, they do produce a fullness of sound that belies the fact they are only a trio. Vince's vocals work well and the guitar work is good across a range of styles.
The rhythm section is tight but with the ability to show variety and imagination.
