Kelly College firsts
v West Buckland
AFTER four successive victories confidence was high when West Buckland visited Kelly College.
Kelly opted to bat first on a pitch looking full of runs, unfortunately the visitors had other ideas and Kelly soon found themselves in trouble at 20-5. This precarious position was partly stabilised by the Kelly middle order which added a further 64 runs, but 84 was never likely to trouble West Buckland who romped home in 17 over's winning by 10 wickets.
Although it was a disappointing result for the home side West Buckland is one of the strongest teams in the South West with a team full of county players.
The game against Plymouth College was abandoned with only nine overs bowled.
