THIS year?s Grand 20th Anniversary Dartmoor Jailbreak has already attracted 17 intrepid teams hell-bent on raising cash for charity by fleeing from Dartmoor Prison.
But more entries are invited for the popular event on Saturday, April 26, which raises money for children with cerebral palsy and other physical difficulties.
The annual event, which has raised a staggering £443,250 since it began in1984, sees teams of two or more attempting to break Guinness world records by going on the run from the prison.
Dressed in prison uniform or other disguises, competitors must try to win their place in the Book of Records within a set time limit, without paying for transport or breaking the law.
Teams have 12, 24, 36, 48, 72 or 96 hours to ?escape?, and may use a pre-arranged route and/or tickets which are free or paid for by someone else.
