YOUNGSTERS from Mount House School made a strong showing in the annual Stover Cross races.
In the U9 girls Tess Campbell-Bareham was fourth, Celia Bate 13th, Loelia Baylis 19th and Olivia Lopes 20th to give the Mount House team the title.
In the Girls' U11s Jess Huntington and Samantha Unsworth-White were third and fourth respectively, Martha Jacobs 14th and Romilly Carrick 20th for a winning score of 21 points. In the U13s race Izzy Kidner was an excellent third.
Notable performances from the boys included a good 13th place for Joseph Du'Gay in the U9s race. Harry Sale and Jonty Walliker were fourth and fifth in the U11s race, and Will Partington fourth in the U13s race. Bronze medals were awarded to Jess Huntington and Izzy Kidner for their individual third place finishes, and plaques were awarded to the Mount House School U9s and U11s girls' teams.
