A WEST Devon charity was thrilled to receive two gifts from generous businessmen recently.

Tavistock Area Support Services (TASS) expressed thanks to Ian Bellamy from Launceston Mobility, who donated a light weight wheel chair for use with the charity's Shopmobility scheme, and John Emptage from Bright Solicitors, who donated an information board for outside the TASS base at the Anchorage Centre.

Andy Lyle, manager at TASS, said: 'Both men commented on how they were pleased to support a local charity making a difference to local people and hoped their donation would help people get out and about and find information they need about what support is available to them.'

Andy was pleased to accept their generosity saying that the support of local businesses helps to support the much needed work of TASS in making a difference to local people.
