THERE will be ghostly goings-on this weekend as the Phoenix Youth Theatre entertain audiences with a spooky show in Bridestowe Village Hall.

'Deception in a Haunted House'tells the story of the fourteenth Duke of Argyll who has lost the family fortune through drinking and gambling.

In order to survive, the Duchess reluctantly opens their castle to the public.

Son and heir Basil decides to host ghost spotting weekends to attract visitors, and hires actors to impersonate the ghouls and frighten the visitors.

Basil's plan goes well, until they discover a real poltergeist has arrived to disrupt the peace.

'Deception in a Haunted House' will be on show on Friday and Saturday July 1 and 2, starting at 8pm both evenings.

Tickets will cost £4.50 for adults and £3.50 for children under 12.
