THERE will be the chance to question those contesting the West Devon and Torridge seat at the general election at a hustings in Tavistock Wharf arts centre.

The event, on Wednesday April 14, starting at 7.30pm, is being organised jointly by the town's chamber of commerce and Tavistock Area Christians Together. It is aimed primarily at members of the business and Christian community but all are welcome to attend.

Robert Oxborough, who is chairing the event, is inviting those who wish to ask questions to email them in advance to [email protected]">[email protected]

So far, six parties have declared they will be contesting the seat. The prospective candidates from each will be on the Question Time-style panel.
