AN exciting event is set to take place this weekend and promises to have everybody in stitches. One of the most popular events in the South West's needlework calendar, the Everybody's Embroidery Event, will take place at Cheriton Bishop Village Hall on Saturday from 10am until 4pm. The event has been organised by members of the Cheriton Bishop West Country Embroiderers and will see them exhibit a range a different embroidery skills, both traditional and modern. Demonstrations will include tapestry, goldwork, weaving machine embroidery and the use of 'encaustic art' in needlework. Well Head Books, The Bead Cellar, Strawberry Fayre, Devine Designs and Steff Francis Threads are just some of the trade stalls that will be at the event. Food and refreshments will be available throughout the day and admission is free.
