LIZZIE Hann and Amanda Howard would like to thank everyone that raised money in sponsorship and collection for the New York marathon that they took part in, on behalf of the charity ?Get Kids Going?. Our thanks go to both our families, friends and work colleagues at Heinz of Okehampton for sponsoring us. We would also like to thank the Chipshop Inn at Gulworthy and ?Tip?s Eat Out?, Bedford Square and all their customers for donating to the collecting pots. Finally, we want to thank the Tamar area Capri Owners? Club (TACO) who raised money by holding a classic car cruise over Dartmoor and a classic car show at the Old Rectory camp site at Gulworthy last summer and were joined by the Duchy Capri Club, the Dreamers of Exeter and the Granada Owners? Club. Lizzie and Amanda ON behalf of the committee, playleaders and parents of Gulworthy PreSchool we would like to thank all those who contributed towards our Mistletoe Fair, thereby making it a roaring success. Everyone involved worked really hard in all manner of ways to make it an enjoyable and memorable afternoon. We were overwhelmed with the support and generosity of both small and large businesses in Tavistock. Without their pledges, gifts and prizes we would not have raised over £1,000 for our pre school. It is great to know that community spirit is alive and kicking in West Devon!. Sarah J Sampson Chairman Gulworthy PreSchool STANNARY Brass Band would like to thank everyone who donated to our street collections in Tavistock on Dickensian Evening and in Yelverton the following morning. We collected £145.34 towards the purchase of music and instruments. The band invites all readers to St Eustachius Church next Saturday evening 7.30pm for our charity concert.
