A TAVISTOCK-based charity celebrated its tenth birthday with a party last weekend.
The Santa Rosa Fund set up in 1988, supports the Escuela Ernesto Che Guevara school in Managua, Nicaragua, and achieved charitable status in 1994.
Trustee Martin Legg said: ‘The fund channels money and educational aid to the school.
‘We send out a box of educational aids once a month and send out money to pay for staff training and buy school uniforms etc.’
The party, held at the Ordulph Arms in Tavistock, was attended by about 150 people.
