YOUNG and old in Monkokehampton enjoyed a village fun day last Saturday, bathed in glorious sunshine.

The Church Field played host to a number of fun games, including a huge tug of war (Pictured left), four in a sack race, clay pigeon shoot, welly-wanging, duck race and more, all to raise funds for the village's Old School Room.

Around the village, residents decorated '2012'-themed scarecrows of the Queen and Olympics.
