There was something for everyone at Lydford Summer Fayre, from a fancy hat competition to a dog show and rare breeds.
More than 300 people attended the event at Lydford Sports Field last Saturday, and they had the chance to get a preview of the new sports pavilion, which is still being completed.
Just under £2,000 was raised for the Sports Field funds.
There were also birds of prey, games, cream teas, an art exhibition, stalls, cakes, plants and the National Trust also attended.
A one man band provided musical entertainment.
Organisers thanked everyone who had helped at and attended the event, including the organisers of the draws and those who gave prizes. The popular dog show was organised by the Margaret Green Foundation from Wingletang.
The fancy hat competition, run to encourage people to wear hats in the sunny weather as protection, was won by Emily Friend.
