STEAM returns to Brentor Station on Saturday, September 5 at this year's village show.

In addition to the keenly contested display of fruit, flowers, vegetables, cookery and handicrafts there will be an added attraction — Plymouth Miniature Steam will be laying a track on the platform of the Old Station House and offering rides on miniature locomotives.

The show starts at 2pm.

It is hoped to use some of the profits from the village show to assist with the refurbishment of Brentor Village Hall.

It is anticipated that a programme of building work, to provide new disabled access and toilets, a new kitchen and store, will start shortly.
