FESTIVE fever will hit Callington on Saturday, with a number of events organised in the town.

A Christmas craft fair will be in the town hall from 10am to 2pm, a Santa Run in aid of CHICKS will start at the Co-op car park at 3pm, the Victorian Christmas Market will run from 4.30pm in the Pannier Market and there will be various entertainment on offer from the Tamar Valley Donkey Park, Plympton Owls and many more.

Callington Town Band will be playing Christmas carols in St Mary's Square prior to the arrival of Santa on his sleigh, in time for the switching on of the Christmas lights at 5pm.

Once the lights have been switched on, there will be a family Christmas disco in the town hall from 5.30pm to 8pm.

Callington Town Council is offering free parking on Saturday, to support local businesses and all the festivities organised.
