TWO Okehampton College students, thirteen-year-old Amy Chapman from Okehampton and fourteen-year-old Lucy Wonnacott from Hatherleigh have agreed to ?swap? lives for a day for charity. On Monday, February 28, the girls will arrive at college as normal but, after previously getting permission from their teachers, they will attend each other?s lessons for the day. At the end of the school day, Amy will travel to Hatherleigh on Lucy?s coach to spend the night with the Wonnacott family and Lucy will stay in Okehampton with the Chapman family. They will be spending until 9am on Tuesday, March 1, living each other?s lives. The friends came up with the novel idea to raise money for the tsunami appeal. So far Amy and Lucy have raised £350 in sponsorship for the appeal.
