THE Friends of Kelly College raised enough money from the recent Kelly College Ball to fund a complete ShelterBox. 

Clare Meachin, chairman of the Friends, and Emma Batley from Kelly College, last week presented a cheque for more than £500 to ShelterBox co-ordinator David Glover.

 The box will form part of a new shipment being sent out to drought hit areas of Ethiopia and Kenya. 

Clare said: 'The Friends are delighted that we have been able to raise funds for such a worthwhile cause from this year's Kelly College Ball.

'ShelterBox is a charity that both Kelly College and the Friends are always keen to support.'
