A TEAM of French traders are bringing their full-scale 24 stall French Market to Tavistock town centre for three days this month. The Marche de France, who visited the town last year, will stage the market on Bedford Square from Friday, April 15 to Sunday, April 17 . Many varieties of bread, baked on site, will be on sale, a cheese lorry will bring in an enormous selection of French cheeses while sausages and salami will be available from the charcuterie. Coming from Normandy, there will be a stall offering three types of cider, real apple juice as well as calvados and pommeau ? alcoholic drinks produced from the Normandy apples. Other goods to eat and drink will include olives, wine from a French producer, sweets, honey, pure butter home-made biscuits and cakes, duck and goose products, cheesecakes and, of course, garlic. Other goods on offer include soap from Marseille, lavender, perfume, cosmetics and leather products. The market will be open from 9am till 5pm on Friday and Saturday and from 10am till 4pm on Sunday.
