TAVISTOCK Golf Club Ladies recently played the Foursomes Cup. The winners were: Maggie Hillman and Barbara Ham with a net score of 76.5; runners-Up, Grace Tucker and Norma Thewlis, net score of 77. The Truscott Pitman Trophy four ball better ball winners were: Judith Morley and Jenny Bryant, net 70; runners-up Sally Hills and Barbara Ham, net 71. The closed meeting was held on September 6. The results were: Silver division, 1, Marjorie Greening, net 69; 2, Nicky Gawman, net 72; 3, Jill Hill net 73; 4, Bridget Luckham, net 74. In the bronze division: 1, Jenny Bryant, net 72; 2, Lyn Alderman, net 72; 3, Barbara Chalk, net 72; 4, Jane Scourse, net 74. The scratch prize was won by Belinda McSherry with gross 79. The Vets prize was won by Trudi Luke, net 74. The Chris Leach trophy was won by Marjorie Greening.
