SALLY Foxhall from Horsebridge has been re-appointed as the chair of the South Hams and West Devon Primary Care Trust.

The former social worker joined the organisation as the non-executive director chair four years ago and has seen many changes within that time. The re-appointment is for the next four years and the remuneration will be £16,417 each year.

Chief executive of the PCT Alan Tibbenham said Mrs Foxhall had worked extremely hard over the past four years and he knew she would wish to continue consolidating the work already undertaken in helping to develop the PCT to provide excellent health services.

Mrs Foxhall has a wealth of experience with roles including mental health act manager and chair of the clinical governance steering group.

She was previously an antenatal teacher, an assessor for the National Childbirth Trust and a lay representative on Derriford Maternity Services Liaison Committee.

Mrs Foxhall, who is married with two children, was a local authority social worker in Liverpool, Hertfordshire and Devon.
