MOUNT Kelly hosted an ‘An Evening with Nasser Hussain OBE’ to raise funds for the Charlie Sumption Memorial Fund (CSMF).
Charlie Sumption attended Mount House School between 2000-2005. A hugely popular and widely talented young man, Charlie died tragically of Sudden Death Syndrome in 2006, at the age of just 14.
Charlie’s family had well-established links with some under-resourced state schools in northern Kenya. In order to perpetuate his memory, they established the CSMF, to raise funds for the schools and to offer financial assistance to pupils who wish to progress to secondary education and beyond.
More than 100 guests were in attendance at the charity dinner who raised £4,000 for the CSMF.
Nasser Hussain talked openly about his career and experiences followed by an informative Q&A session.
