CHAGFORD resident Brian Froud, the award-winning illustrator and author whose imagination sparked the images for the cult classic film Labyrinth and later The Dark Crystal, will be signing copies of his new book in Plymouth this weekend. The Goblins of Labyrinth chronicles each of the creatures in detail, with all the artistry for which Brian Froud and collaborator Jim Henson are known. Captured and catalogued by former Monty Python member Terry Jones, who wrote the screen play for Labyrinth, the book has been re-issued for the 20th anniversary of the film and is a must-have for faery fans and goblin enthusiasts. Brian Froud will be signing books at the University Bookseller in Plymouth on Saturday December 2 at 2pm.
