AS part of the 'Plymouth Armed Forces Week', Michael and Lucy Hayes held an RAF Harrowbeer Archives 'Open Weekend' at Knightstone Tea Rooms.

On view were documents, including the operational record books for Harrowbeer and squadrons based there, plus artefacts and photographs.

RAF Harrowbeer was operational between 1941 and 1946. Many different nationalities flew from Harrowbeer, mostly RAF squadrons but also Fleet Air Arm and US Navy.
