THE recently promoted Plymouth Argyle will be bringing soccer to Okehampton next week with a special football in the community event.
The event is open to boys and girls, aged 6-14, and will be held in Simmons Park on Monday and Tuesday from 10am to 3pm and costs £20. There will be football sessions, games, skills development and competitions.
Organiser Jane Bailey said the event was being held in addition to what Exeter City put on in the summer.
'There will be a huge variety of things going on and plenty of prizes to win,' she said. 'It's great to form links with another local team and we hope this will be the first of many.'
