OCRA has a busy programme planned to keep youngsters fit and entertained during the February half term.
On Tuesday, February 17 and Thursday, February 19 OCRA is holding sport and art days for six to fourteen year olds, where youngsters can enjoy a mixture of sport and art and craft activities.
Potential sports include football, tennis, basketball and on the Thursday there will be opportunities to go swimming in the afternoon session.
The sessions run on both days from 10am to 3pm, with the first child of the family costing £9.50 and each additional child costing £7.50.
Children will need to bring appropriate indoor and outdoor clothing, packed lunch and drinks.
Sue Doidge, activity manager at OCRA, said: 'We always try to create a varied range of activities for youngsters in the Okehampton area during half-term and school holidays.
'Exercise is important to the health and wellbeing of all children, as well as being a lot of fun.
'Our arts and sports days offer a wide variety of things to do to keep everyone who comes along busy and entertained, while the specialist "camps" like those for gymnastics and netball, are great for youngsters who want to try their hand at a particular sport.
'The focus is on fun and building enjoyment for such activities, so children of all sporting abilities are encouraged to come and get involved.'
