FIVE students from Okehampton College donned fancy dress and face paint to take part in a fun fitness challenge on?Sunday.
The girls, Laura Vandendorpe, Asha Groves, Katie Jenkins, Kim Walker and Hattie Brain, met at Meldon Quarry where they began the challenge, involving jogging, climbing, wading through the river and hanging off the underside of the viaduct.
The activity was run by former Okehampton resident Tony Rudall.
The girls completed a 20-metre rock traverse to round off the challenge, then made their way up to a nearby pool where they sat in the cold water.
The students received a bronze, silver and gold certificate after each challenge was completed.
