THE first winners of the New Year for the EX20 Lottery have been announced. Striking the jackpot in the first weeks of January were Mrs Ball, Mrs Pearce and Mr Charlton. They each won an amount close to £60. Runners-up included Mr Hellier, Mrs Stephens, Mrs Lang, Mrs Voaden, Mr and Mrs Joy, Mr and Mrs Cole, Mr Penna, K Pearce and Margaret Woolland. The EX20 Lottery has donated more than £86,000 to the EX20 community since it began in 2000. Organisers hope it will go from strength to strength in 2008 and after the front page article in the Times on January 3, it has received publicity from BBC Radio Devon to help raise its profile.
