Patricia Olds, who has just published her first novel at the age of 74, was at Lewtrenchard Manor last weekend, signing copies of her book, '1831 — Charlotte Treleaven Comes of Age'. Patricia lived in Callington for many years and the book draws on the beauty of the Cornish landscape.
