FIRE crews had to tackle a vehicle that was on fire on a road at Gulworthy on Saturday afternoon (July 16).
The crew from Tavistock arrived to find the vehicle well alight on the highway from Three Oaks Cross to Gulworthy Cross.
The fire was extinguished using two breathing apparatus wearers and a compressed air foam jet.
The vehicle was left severely damaged by the fire and the cause was deemed to be accidental.
Duty of care was left with the owner and vehicle recovery.
