PITCHES are now available for a family fête and car boot sale in Simmons Park on September 1.

The event is being organised by the Co-operative to raise money for the Carers Trust and other local charities.

There will be a hog roast with live music, a bouncy castle, beer tent, barbecue, games and more.

A car boot sale will run from 10am to 2pm, with a pitch costing £5 per car. Stall holders can also buy a pitch for the fête for £5.

People can also take part in the cupcake making and egg throwing contests, enjoy live music or enjoy a live reptile show.
