THE Okehampton-based Get Changed Theatre Company will be in action at the 2011 Exeter Respect Festival next month.

The charity was founded in 1995 and is the only theatre company in Devon for adults with learning disabilities and mental health problems.

It runs a continuous programme of drama and education projects, leading to performances in the wider community.

The Respect Festival was attended by 13,500 people last year and provides a platform for participants to meet and interact with other marginalised groups, overcoming ignorance by sharing with others from a diverse range of cultures.

Get Changed will be performing on the community stage at 12.30 on Saturday June 4, and welcome along anyone who would like to support them at the festival.

The event is free, and takes place in Belmont Park in Exeter.

An array of different groups performing promise a fun day for all the family.
