FESTIVAL programmes for the tenth annual Hatherleigh Festival are now out, with the box office open this week to sell tickets for the events. Festival programmes will be available in libraries and tourist information offices, detailing the packed schedule of events taking place at various venues in the town from Thursday, July 7 to Sunday, July 10, The festival will be tickling funnybones with its own comedy club event, with top billing belonging to Andy Parsons, one half of acclaimed comedy duo Parsons and Naylor, who are regulars on TV and radio. Among the musical highlight will be the visit of Black Umfolos, Zimbabwe?s number one a-cappella group who will be bringing the traditional song and dance of Bulawayo to Hatherleigh. The festival will also feature theatre, concerts, exhibitions and a host of workshops for both young and old.
