SOUTH West Lakes Trust is offering a unique opportunity to enjoy a bracing walk and the chance to cut your own Christmas tree next month.
The Christmas tree walk will take place on Saturday, December 20 by Burrator Reservoir.
Walkers should meet countryside manager Neil Reeves at 11am at the Burrator Discovery Centre. The walk, which will finish at 3pm, will include selecting and felling the tree of your choice. The walk is free, you only pay for the tree, a very modest sum of £10 per tree (limited to one tree per person).
Robust footwear and waterproof clothing is essential. A Santa hat is optional! Unfortunately the terrain is not suitable for the less-abled.
Please bring your own refreshments and a packed lunch. Dogs on leads are welcome.
Booking a place is recommended by calling 01566 771930.
