'RETURN to the Forbidden Planet' is coming to the Wharf Theatre between December 3 and 6, the annual production of the talented 'Amanda's School of Dance'.
The show is a mixture of Shakespeare's 'The Tempest' and the 1960s Sci-Fi film 'The Return to the Forbidden Planet' with hits from the 1960s/70s thrown in for good measure. Such hits as 'Great Balls of Fire', 'Teenager in Love', 'Good Vibrations' and 'Wipeout' to name a few. Audiences have been dancing in the aisles. Right from the start when you board the intergalactic space flight you will be entertained by this fast moving toe tapping production
Amanda's School of Dance have previously won regional awards of excellence for their productions, which have included 'Scrooge', 'Tin Pan Ali', 'Oliver' and last year's hit 'Bugsy Malone'.
