FOLLOWING recent open auditions the leading roles in Tavistock Musical Theatre Company's forthcoming production 'My Fair Lady' have now been allocated.

This is the first time that 'My Fair Lady', one of the most popular musicals of all time, has been presented in Tavistock and it will run for six performances at the Wharf commencing Tuesday October 29.

Several new faces will appear in principal roles with Helen Mallet taking on the challenging role of Eliza.

Helen comes from the Torbay area but is more likely to have been seen in Plymouth performing with Opera South West and the Plymouth Gilbert and Sullivan Fellowship. This year Helen has started a degree course at Exeter University.

Lee Jarman takes on the key role of Professor Higgins with Pete Clement as Dolittle, Greg Pannel as Freddie and Tim Farmer as Colonel Pickering.

'My Fair Lady' is still playing to packed houses in London's West End with great critical acclaim and the staging of this musical at the Wharf promises to be the theatrical event of the year.

Patrons are advised to book early for the best seats and tickets are now available at the box office — phone 01822 611166.
