AN innovative workshop looking at how to tackle problems of social exclusion in Devon is being held in Okehampton in November.
The training course entitled ?Nothing About Us Without Us? has been organised by the Community Council of Devon and is aimed at elected councillors, agencies, project leaders and community development workers.
The training day is the first of three innovative workshops. It will provide an overview of social inclusion initiatives, a series of guest speakers and an opportunity to hear first hand the experiences of people facing exclusion who live in Devon communities.
?Nothing About Us Without Us: Tackling Social Exclusion in Devon through Policy and Practice? takes place at the Ockment Centre, Okehampton on Tuesday, November 18, between 10am-4.30pm.
