He commenced the evening with a selection by Johann Sebastian Bach, including ?Jesu, Joy of Man?s Desiring?. Other pieces included the overture from the Barber of Seville by Rossini and Orpheus in the Underworld. Following pieces by Tchaikovsky and Verdi, Michael concluded his well-received programme with the Dambusters March.
