LOCAL primary schools joined together recently at Halwill Primary School for an entertaining Holsworthy Learning Community Mini Music Festival.

Halwill Primary School hosted the event which saw pupils take part in a variety of workshops, including African drumming, steel-pans, Taiko drumming, shred guitar, energetic dancing and learning how to mix music using sound technology. 

The children culminated at the end of the afternoon and performed a range of playground songs. There were also live performances throughout the day, including students from Holsworthy Community College who wowed everyone with their talents.

Organisers expressed thanks to everyone who participated in the Mini Music Festival.
