Football trickster impresses pupils

A former world record football trickster impressed pupils at a villager school with his impressive skills.

Football freestyler Dan Magness wowed pupils at an assembly before leading a series of workshops at Lifton Community Academy during a special visit.

Dan is a former Guinness World Records holder, having once kept a football airborne for 26 hours without using his hands. He has also performed at Wembley Stadium and the Royal Albert Hall and walked across London keeping a football up the whole time.

Adam Hill, Headteacher of Lifton Community Academy, said: “Dan gave our pupils a fantastic experience, combining an incredible display of football skills with the opportunity for them to have a go themselves.”
