THE Devon German Shepherd Dog Rescue held a Companion Dog Show at Lewdown Victory Hall on Sunday, June 24.

Winners of the four pedigree classes: AV puppy (6-12 months): Justin, Carol Snell; AV sporting and best in show: Phoebe, Fran Bowman; AV non-sporting: Dulcea, Alison Ransom; AV open and reserve best in show: Mealla, Gill Ford.

Winners of the ten novelty classes: Crossbreed: Primrose, Maggie Moore; Veteran: Esther, Hannah Chamness; rescued/rehomed: Remy, Amanda McKie; long coat: Charlie, Ros Kuckman; short coat: Tarka, Monica Brooks; appealing eyes and reserve best in show: Weazel, Carol Snell; handsome male: Kez, Linda Blake; prettiest female: Keisha, Ken Ransom; best movement and best in show: Dulcea, Alison Ransom; dog judge would take home: Emma, Jennifer Venning.
